Tools

Every tool only reads public catalog data and returns text plus structured content, each result with the Sparkl page it comes from.

search_cards · Search cards
Find trading cards by name (and optionally game, set or number) with their current market prices and Sparkl page. English printings by default; best name matches first, then the most valuable. Try: “How much is the Umbreon ex from Prismatic Evolutions worth?”
get_card · Card details
One card's details and its market price per finish (TCGplayer in USD, Cardmarket in EUR), by the id search_cards returned. Try: “Show me Charizard ex 199 from 151 by finish.”
get_set · Set details
A set's release date, card count, total market value and most valuable cards, by name or code. Try: “What is the total value of Prismatic Evolutions, and its most valuable cards?”
upcoming_releases · Upcoming releases
Upcoming trading card set releases with their English release dates, for one game or all of them. Try: “Which Pokémon sets come out next?”
price_trends · Price trends
Today's biggest card price rises and falls for one game on TCGplayer, with 30-day moves confirmed on Cardmarket. Try: “Which One Piece cards went up the most today?”
most_valuable_cards · Most valuable cards
The most valuable cards of one game right now, by market price. Try: “What are the most valuable Riftbound cards right now?”

Prices and sources

Near Mint market prices, the same as on Sparkl's public pages: the TCGplayer market price in US dollars and the Cardmarket price in euros, refreshed daily. A lowest listing is never given as a value, and a price estimated from eBay sales is named as one. Graded prices and sold listings are not part of the server.

Limits

One tool call per request, 30 tool calls a minute per client (HTTP 429 with Retry-After past that), and answers kept for 10 minutes, so the same question asked again within that time gets the same answer.

Privacy

The server needs no account and stores no personal data. Your client's IP address is used for a minute to apply the rate limit and is not kept. Sparkl counts tool calls by tool, client type and country, never by person. The privacy policy and terms apply.
