Methodology
- Prices
- Near Mint market prices: TCGplayer (USD) and Cardmarket (EUR), as shown on every Sparkl page.
- Scope
- English printings; sets already released.
- Most valuable cards
- Cards whose TCGplayer and Cardmarket prices agree within 40% at the day's EUR/USD rate, valued at the lower of the two. Cards priced on one market only are left out.
- Most valuable sets
- Main expansions only (promotional, organized-play, prize, starter and product-exclusive sets are left out), ranked by the total market value of every card. Sets where a single card makes up more than 40% of that value are left out too: one thinly traded card should not rank a set.
- Price moves
- 30-day change in TCGplayer market price from Sparkl's daily movers job, kept only when Cardmarket's own price history moved the same way by at least 20% over the same 30 days, and by a comparable amount (neither move more than 3× the other). Cards worth at least $20 today and $10 thirty days ago; moves capped by the job (±300%) are left out.
- Europe vs US
- Cards worth at least $50 on TCGplayer with a Cardmarket price, compared at the day's EUR/USD rate; the median gap per game. Pairs more than 2× apart are treated as mismatched listings and left out, and single-card gaps are not published for that reason.
- Data download
- The CSV file holds this edition's derived series only: coverage per game, the Europe vs US gap per game, the most valuable sets with their total value, and counts of confirmed price moves. It holds no individual card's marketplace price.
Published numbers are frozen: this page never changes after September 23, 2026. Market prices are references, not guaranteed sale prices.
